I had to listen to the news like 3 times because from the first time I couldn't get the idea concerning the beginning. There were less unknown words. Mostly it was easy to catch the idea and details what was going on.
What happened?
In the Dubai's airport were intercepted the 2 packages with explosive materials. In the plane which destined for the USA American police officers found the packages.They figured out that this package originated in Yemen. As known in Yemen now based Alkaid group . And American President is going to do everything to protect citizens of the USA. They had talks with Yemen government for general actions against terrorism. And Obama made the first steps of protective politics. He had already ordered to stop the activity of company UPS. Because those two cargoes with the same explosive materials which was also intercepted in Britain and Dublin own by UPS. And today in the middle of the road in Chicago was stopped the lorry owning by UPS. Now Obama has intention to root out the extremism and he vowed to do everything for protection the USA.

I have been listening to the report 2 times. The first time I was not so attentive so that's why I had to listen it again.And it was enough for me to understand the main idea of conversation and what happened.
what happened? the American teacher with her friends were hiking on the mountains which was near with Iranian border. They were arrested and sent to the Tehran prison, because of suspicion on spying. Iranian officers treated to them like prisoners though they had better conditions then another. they had extra food, medicine and so on. But they did not have opportunity to do phone calls to home and in spite of crying and requests Iranian refused them. Actually their relatives and family did not know what was going on with them. Were they still alive or no.
They had to tell everything about themselves beginning from when they were born till they arrival to Iran. Sarah Shourd she was a victim was writing like hundreds and hundreds pages. it was some kind of her biography.it was done for Iranian officers who wanted to be sure that they are not participants of spy organization. The Prisoners did not get the answers on all questions and it was obvious that situation was getting more political. And always when there is a politics you never know how this situation will develop. Fortunately, prisoners were released and they came back to the USA. and now this process develop.The US State Department has singled out eight Iranian officials by name for tough new sanctions accusing them of rampant human rights abuses.
