Close-Up: Argentina's love for the Ford Falcon

Hello,
I was listening to the video one time. Because there were very few unknown words.
This BBC News series focuses on aspects of life in countries and cities around the world. What may seem ordinary and familiar to the people who live there can be surprising to those who do not.
The Ford Falcon is one of Argentina's icons.
The cars were first imported into the country in 1962, and although production of the model ended some twenty years ago, they are still as popular as ever.
The Falcon became a status symbol for the Argentinian middle class in the boom years of the 1970s and 80s.
But as Candace Piette explains, the model also has a darker history.
Originally this car was used during the war.As usual this model was green color   because it afforded to be imperceptible in the forests and fields. on such kind of car military transferred the bodies of killed decedents. this car was enough huge and comfortable for dark business.
But Argentinian families don't guess about this dark history of their icon.

Santiago strives to become a cool, global city

Hello, dear readers!

I was listening to this video 1 time. it was enough  to understand what particular message  they wanted to get across to  audience.
The main idea: In February Chile was struck by one of the largest recorded earthquakes in history and work to repair damaged buildings and roads, particularly in the Concepcion region, is still going on.
In Santiago  life has quickly returned to normal. Over 300km away from the epicenter, it did not suffer the same level of damage.
However, tourism there has been struck very heavily. The Chilean tourism industry says the media is responsible for misrepresenting the danger of the situation and deterring tourists.
Now in Santiago there is everything for the tourists. The Chilean government consider Santiago one of the most developing cities in South America. A lot of new buildings are reconstructed now, new roads are built, Santiago is changing, improving because of good infrastructure. And government is splashing lot of cash in Santiago.
The citizens found the obvious changes. thay said that 10 years ago it was more sad it is like kick two or three times  now it is full by energy. it is time for jump.in 45 minutes from the city you can be in snow mountains, in another one hour you can taste the best wine in the world.
"Only twenty years ago unpolitical rights were restricted by closes, books, films, pictures. Now it is woke up".- one famous artist says.
the reputation of Santiago is a cool city is still unreconstructed. and now it is being progress.
